Block Party Trailer
The association has a Block Party Trailer available to you as you plan outreach events in your community. Please contact the office at Edgefield First Baptist Church to book the trailer.
Ministry Health Kits
Health kits provide basic toiletries that can open the hearts of individuals and remove barriers to sharing the gospel. These kits are used to minister and witness to people in our own communities and regions. Scriptures and other gospel materials in the language of the person receiving the kit are added.
The following items are put in a 2 or 2 1/2 gallon zipper bag:
1 toothpaste (6 oz.)
1 toothbrush (factory sealed)
1 soap (4.5 oz. or larger bath size)
1 washcloth (no white, please)
1 bath towel (no white, please)
1 comb
Christmas Prisoner Packets
Every year, South Carolina Baptists put together Prisoner Packets for the inmates in our state prisons. For some of these inmates, these packets are the only gifts they’ll receive. The packets are brought to the Association office by the second week of November for delivery to Columbia.

Dolls on Mission
Dolls on Mission are crafted by EBA WMU members for use by mission groups, local ministries to children, or for anyone who has a ministry involving children who need to hear the story of Jesus and Salvation. The dolls come with a “Salvation Necklace” and directions for telling the salvation story.
Seafarer’s Ministry
This ministry reaches out to the 25,000 seafarers from 110 countries who pass through the terminals on the Cooper River each year with the love of Christ by providing reading materials, transportation, material needs, Bibles/tracts, and spiritual support.
We collect devotional books (Open Windows), Readers’ Digest, and caps and scarves for this ministry. Materials are delivered each fall to Charleston.
Churches Changing Communities (CCC)
A mission project that began in 2010 that reaches out to the local community. For a designated time, middle school and high school students, along with adults, do construction projects as well as ministry projects and share the love of Jesus.
Men’s Ministry
The EBA Men’s Ministry provides labor to build handicap ramps or loans temporary portable ramps for those in need. They also minister to children at Connie Maxwell Children’s Home and John de la Howe by providing hunting experiences during the year and an Outdoor Expo in the spring.
Prison Ministry
The Men’s Ministry conducts a worship service at the Trenton Correction Institute once a month. A Christmas dinner is served in December. Volunteers also personally deliver Christmas Prisoner Packets to every inmate.
Hispanic Migrant Ministry
Ministry Health Kits with a Spanish language Bible and/or tract are delivered to the migrant camps in May. Pastor Cris Negrete leads the Spanish language Worship Service at the camps each Saturday evening during the summer months. Churches provide meals before each Worship Service.
Operation Christmas Child

Disaster Relief Team
The Association has a Disaster Relief Team trained in mud-out and chain saw clean up. Trained Unit Leaders and volunteers are ready to assist both in South Carolina and neighboring states when needs arise. They provide physical help and share the gospel.
Christmas Backpacks
The Christmas Backpacks Ministry seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those living in the Appalachian Area and in upstate South Carolina. The backpacks received will be distributed to needy children and teenagers during events at which the Gospel will be shared.
